Grover
Dear Veronica,
I would like to you know that the bodywork session that you had with my bull terrier Grover changed his life, and by extension our whole family's. As you recall, at 1 1/2 years of age, Grover seemed to have developed a chronic injury in his rear right leg. After strenuous exercise, he would sometimes suffer pain in that leg. At times he would limp; at other times he would hold it up and tremble with pain. At other times he was unaffected. We visited three separate veterinarians and went through the standard routine of palpation and x-rays and so on. Each time the answer was the same: there is nothing wrong with Grover. Suggestions for treatment were unsatisfactory: try Glucosamine and live with it. Avoid running. Put him on daily painkillers. And yet, Grover continued to have the problem. He learned not to run at daily our dog run outings, thereby making the leg problem worse after weekend hikes. I had finally reached the point where I decided that the dog had a chronic problem. I was prepared for a lifetime of dealing with his hip trouble.
Just then, my wife Meg found you and scheduled an appointment which she attended. Meg was amazed, and taught me the therapeutic massage that you worked out. She and I worked with Grover in the following weeks. As you discovered, Grover's pain was not due to joint problems but was related to his high chest breathing and the ensuing muscular tightness that ended up stiffening his leg painfully. And as you predicted, Grover rapidly learned that through the technique you taught, he could relax his abdomen and legs.
Within days, he became a changed dog. He now runs with high effort in a way that he never did before and takes strenuous weekend hikes without any ill effect. He seems happier with his newfound physical freedom, and can relax himself without our assistance. I was embarrassed by my previous conclusion, supported by the vets, that Grover would have the leg problem forever. You freed Grover from his pain and me from the faulty vision of a dog with chronic problems. We recommend you and your bodywork without reservation to all of the people we encounter whose dogs have problems, whether physical or emotional.
Thank you again,
Andrew Reyniak

Shane Ashton
In September 2002, I rescued a dog named Shane from the CACC. Shane was suffering from a broken leg and a broken heart. His leg was reset, and for the next four months, he ran around on three legs, attracting sympathy from strangers and loving his newfound attention. His heart was on the mend, but I wasn't sure that he would ever use his leg again. After two sessions with Veronica, he did!
I have no doubt that my dog Shane's ongoing recovery and enhanced quality of life is the direct result of his work with Veronica. Her enormous empathy, innate intelligence, powerful intuition and technical excellence combine effortlessly and allow her to connect to animals (and people) on a profound level, opening the door to transformation and ultimately to heal.

Sofie Hoffmann
Due to physical and emotional issues, Sofie had often been protective of her body, especially through the chest area, resulting in muscle tightness. As she developed some muscle degeneration in the shoulder and arthritis, her inability to open up was taking a toll on her physical comfort and energy. Always physically active, age 9 seemed too soon to see the slowing down that she was demonstrating.
Veronica was able to not only open Sofie's body through her work with her but was able to teach me how to continue it on a daily basis. As a result Sofie has learned how to do this for herself. Her energy and fitness have improved dramatically and she is going strong at age 11.
We continue to enjoy periodic "tune-ups" with Veronica.
Thank you, Auntie V!
Virginia and Sofie
